Route to Registration

How to apply for Registration

Persons who do not have the minimum academic qualification will not be eligible for registration. If unsure, please contact the office of the NCAQS telephonically.

1 ONLINE APPLICATION & DOCUMENTATION

Complete the online application form and upload the following scanned documents:

Employers Undertaking: Certified and stamped. Download here

Identity: Certified Birth Certificate/ID/Passport (max 3 months old).

Non-Citizens: Certified copy of Work Permit/Visa.

Qualifications: Certified copies and transcripts of all degrees.

Verification: NQA/SAQA or Digiverify (for non-Namibian/SA degrees).

Professional Bodies: Proof of enrolment with NIA/INQS.

2 FEES & LIABILITIES

  • You will receive an automated Application Fee Invoice at the end of your application.
  • Personal Liability: You are personally liable for this non-refundable fee.
  • Failure to pay within 30-days will result in deletion of application data.
  • Use Invoice number as reference and forward proof of payment to secretary@ncaqs.org

3 THE APPROVAL PROCESS

Stage A: Application Approval

Once approved, you will be notified in writing of your Registration as an Architect/Quantity Surveyor in-training.

Stage B: Assessment (APC)

After your in-training period, you must apply to sit the Assessment for Professional Competence (APC). Passing this leads to professional registration.
